Check exterior of restaurant for cleanliness and damages
Check external signage to see if it's well illuminated
Check external lightning to see if it's appropriate
Is the pavement outside clean and safe to navigate?
Is the reception area clean and uncluttered?
Are carpets and floors free from stains or marks?
Are carpets and floors sweeped and vacuumed?
Are windows clean and free of smudges?
Are tables and chairs in good condition?
Are furniture, light fixtures, plants, and pictures in good condition?

Check toilet paper, soap, and paper towels levels
Check the cleanliness of the toilets

Is your staff hair style well groomed and in compliance?
Is your staff wearing the correct uniform?
Is your staff hand and nails in compliance?
Are the staff trained to answer questions and take reservations?
Do the staff have knowledge to explain the menu and wine list?
Do the staff explain the special menus appropriately?
Are guest greeted and shown to tables to a consistent standard?
Are guests greeted promptly, energetically and courteously?
On initial approach to the table is the greeting prompt and courteous?
Do staff anticipate the customer's needs during the meal?
Is the offering of beverage and water refill timely and appropriate?
Is the appropriate plate and silverware distributed properly according to menu item ordered?
Does staff remove and replace plates and utensils between courses?
Are guests offered appropriate condiments?
Are plates and glass ware handled appropriately and cleared correctly?
Are staff handling food correctly?
Does staff perform duties in an unobtrusive manner?
Is the bill processed in a timely manner?
Does the waiter or someone at the door acknowledge you as you leave?
Are the menus clean and well presented?
Are healthy options offered in the menu?
Are all the ingredients used in the dishes fresh and bright?
