Quest Diagnostics has partnered with Coast to deliver a new, state-of-the-art, computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) that empowers maintenance, equipment lifecycle tracking, and capital planning. This web-based tool puts asset details at your fingertips and encourages continuous communication with your Biomed and Asset Management Teams via tablets and mobile devices.

Pilot Phase / Phase I

  • Service Contract Repository (support information for both corporate and local agreements)

Phase II

  • Preventive Maintenance Scheduler (PM tracker)
  • Capital Purchase Project Tracker (CapEx management system)
  • Parts Inventory Tracker (Parts tracking and accounting)
  • Equipment Marketplace (offer / claim available assets)

We continue to populate the system with data including Chart of Account (COA), nicknames, parent-child relationships, and test names. When complete, we will have full cradle-to-grave asset tracking with full search capabilities.

Full roll-out of our new system (AKA CMMS 2.0) will occur 2nd half of 2024.
