Coast is a maintenance and work order platform built specifically for the deskless workforce. Available on Android, iOS, and web, our software is designed for teams on the move—making it easy to stay connected and on top of daily operations, no matter where work happens.

By combining real-time chat with customizable maintenance workflows, Coast helps teams streamline communication, coordinate tasks, and get more done with less friction.

While Coast is flexible enough to support a wide variety of operational needs, our current focus is on solving critical maintenance challenges for organizations that rely on speed, clarity, and accountability.

Role

As our first PM, you’ll be a key part of the team. You’ll partner closely with engineering, design, and the CEO to define and ship the next generation of our product. You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping not just what we build, but how we build it—process, priorities, and product thinking.

If you’re excited about building something from 1 to 10, wearing many hats, and moving fast, this is for you. Here are the things this role will entail:

  • Talk directly with customers to deeply understand their pain points.
  • Define product specifications, user stories, and success metrics.
  • Work closely with engineers and designers to bring features to life.
  • Prioritize ruthlessly across competing demands.
  • Analyze product usage and iterate quickly.
  • Set up and improve lightweight product processes as we grow.

  • You are excited about our mission and our values align with yours.
  • 3–6 years of experience in product management or adjacent roles (engineering, design, operations).
  • Experience shipping products in early-stage environments and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong customer empathy—you love talking to users.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technically fluent—you can collaborate effectively with engineers.
  • Action-oriented—you get things done and aren’t afraid of ambiguity.
  • Bonus: experience in no-code platform building, mobile, or AI

Compensation: Competitive base salary and equity, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), and a 401k plan with employer matching.

Product: The market we are going after is massive and underserved. Our customers love the product and use it for hours every day. What you will be building will directly impact their everyday lives. We use Coast as our central nervous system, just like our customers!
